Crafts I'm Loving

I've been looking at link parties and searching craft blogs for cute, Easter crafts. Here's some of my favorite.

These bunny cupcakes are adorable. And they're from Paula Deen, so you know they're delicious!

I love this spring frame. It's so simple and cute and you don't have to take it down after Easter, it can be left up all spring.

I'm obsessed with topiaries, and I love this Easter Topiary.

This Peep Vase is one of my favorites. It's so colorful and festive.

I love hydrangeas! I really wanted to make these hydrangea covered Easter eggs, so I went to Michaels and couldn't find the eggs that they used for this project. Also, the hydrangeas were $6.99 a piece and it looks like it could take several and that adds up. I'm going to keep an eye out for some at the Dollar Tree (they didn't have any when I went) and also check the ads for sales they may have.

These aren't Easter themed, but I love these terracotta herb pots
I've already bought a pot and the spray paint. I'm going to try one out this weekend. If it turns out good, I'll make a bunch.

These are just a few of the Easter crafts that I found that I love. I love crafts, but I just don't have enough time to make all the cute things that I want. Looking things up, making my shopping list, waiting until the boys are in bed and going out to get the supplies (which ALWAYS takes several trips since the first couple stores I go to never have what I need) and then finding the time to actually DO the crafts. There's just not enough hours in the day. :(

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I'm linking up with Jamie for "What I'm Loving Wednesdays".

I'm loving Skinny Cow's Chocolate & Peanut Butter ice cream sandwhiches. Is there anything better than chocolate and peanut butter? I don't think so. And they're low fat, so I don't feel as guilty eating them. I'm loving my pink Ipad cover that came in the mail. Obviously, I would like it more if I had my ipad to put it on, but still, it's so pretty. :)

I'm loving Starbucks iced cocoa cappuccinos. I pretty much stick with the same thing everytime I go to Starbucks, so it was nice to try something new. I'm loving Pure Seduction from VS and I love their body butter, it dries faster than normal lotion. And they're having a sale- 8 for 35.00, I may have to go and stock up. I'm loving that Evan seems to be feeling a little bit better. He's still coughing, snotty, and sleeping more than usual, but when he's awake, he's acting more like himself. Carter has been sleeping a little more and has coughed a couple of times, but no congestion or runny nose, so hopefully he won't catch it. I'm looking forward to getting past this and getting some sleep. ;) What are you loving this Wednesday?

Sick Babies & Another One Off the List

Every time I find a blog that has a 101 list, I read it. I love seeing what's on other people's lists. I always see something fun that I would never think of. I was reading a list recently (I forget what blog I saw it on) and on their list was to blog about everything they do off their 101 list. I think that's such a great idea! I don't know why I didn't think of it. I'm going to try and go back and do a quick recap blog of the things I've marked off my list and definitely start doing that from now on, starting today. Number 13 on my list was to learn how to make a good homemade pizza. Check! I found this delicious recipe on Scissors & Spatulas for Tomato & Basil Pizza. They got it off the side of a container of Philadelphia Cooking Creme. I made it last night and it was so good! It's my favorite pizza. Greg was hesitant, he doesn't like meatless meals. He actually asked me to get some salami to put on top and I didn't' have time. After the first bite he said "As much as it pains me to say this--this is really good!" haha. He loved it. We will definitely be having this on a regular basis now. I love it when I try new recipes and they turn out good. **I got this picture from Scissors & Spatulas, because I forgot to take one of ours, doesn't it look tasty??**
So, the boys had several playdates last week and it has come back to bite us on the butt. Evan is sick. :( He's so pitiful. Runny nose, cough, tired, etc. It's so sad, it really breaks my heart to see him like this. Normally he is a ball of energy, but yesterday and today, not so much. He has little moments where he seems to feel a little better and can play, but they don't last long. Carter has coughed a few times and is sleeping a lot more, so we don't know if he's just not going to get as sick as Evan or if it just hasn't hit him yet. We hope this is as bad as it gets and they start feeling better asap. There is nothing more heartbreaking than seeing your babies sick. They're too young to understand what's going on. :( So, this week will be pretty low key. We'll be staying around the house, cuddling the babies and making sure they get plenty of rest. It's calling for rain/snow every day this week except for today, so even if the boys start feeling better, we'll stay in where it's warm and dry.

Evan is never too sick to play with one of his favorite things. A plastic cup. All the toys they have, and they love those plastic cups! Carter playing while Evan slept. Normally, they're on the same schedule, but when one or both are sick, it's a free for all around here. :) Playing during a burst of energy, Evan crashed pretty soon after this and took a nice, long nap.

Black Heels to Tractor Wheels Part 2

I finished part two of "Black Heels to Tractor Wheels" today. I can't wait to read the 3rd and final section. She mentioned at the end of part 2 that there was death, divorce, etc. So, now I'm dying to find out what happens.

From Samantha: What did you think of Marlboro Man's proposal? How would you feel if you were proposed to like that?

I think that their proposal was perfect for them and that it didn't matter to her how he did it. She was just happy to be engaged to him. I would love to think that I'd be like that, but I know I wouldn't. I'd be so disappointed. I love how Greg proposed. The fancy dinner, champagne, romance, surprise, etc. It was perfect. But, I think what he did worked for them.

She wrote a lot about never riding in a pickup truck before and how she used to judge girls who rode in the middle. After being with Marlboro Man she felt differently and actually wanted to ride in the middle. How do you feel about that? Have you ever judged somebody and then after learning more, regret that you had judged them?

I'm dealing with this everyday. It's so hard not to make snap judgements about others on very little information. I think we all do it to a certain extent. I'm working so hard to stop doing it. I don't want my boys to do it and I want to lead by example. I'm trying to be more compassionate and give people the benefit of the doubt.

From mcbracey:

After their first fight, did it make you question if Marlboro man was the one to give up everything for, or was Ree willing to do it because it was easy when everything else seemed hard?

I didn't question whether they should be together, I think she just panicked because she was in an unfamiliar & scary situation and she reacted to it. I have noticed how much she's stepped out of her comfort zone--prairie fires, sticking her arm in a cow's butt, eating steak, staying in and watching old movies, sitting in silence on the porch, etc. But, I haven't really seen much that he's done to step out of his comfort zone and experience what she's all about. I think it'd be nice if she didn't give up everything that made her-her for him. She keeps talking about no more cappachino, no more this, no more that. Why? Why can't the two of them go out every now and then since that was what she was like before? I think she's grown so much and most of that stuff probably isn't important anymore, but she can't possibly be over all the stuff she used to enjoy.

Do you wonder what Ree is doing all day? How is she financially making it? Is she really just waiting around all day to meet up with Marlboro man at night?

I do wonder that same thing! I was thinking that she seems like such an independent, motivated person that wouldn't be happy sitting at the house all day or not working. She seems very type A and I would think that she would want to be busy during the day doing something.

Would you let your now husband duck out of your reception to watch a football game?

I wouldn't let my husband, but if I was marrying a man who used to play college football and I scheduled our wedding during a game, I would. But, only if it was the team he played for that was playing.

From Erin:

How would you have reacted to being around for the prairie fire?

I would have been scared, but I wouldn't have freaked out like she did. I was very surprised at her reaction. I know she was a city girl, but I thought she was pretty strong. I wonder if some of her reaction wasn't to the fire but just being overwhelmed at how much her life was going to change.

From Rachel:

There have been so many funny little stories along the way in the book. What has been your favorite? Any favorite lines?

There's been several, but my favorite was the scenario that she has played out in her head when a female answers Marlboro Man's phone. When she answered the door and thought "But, you're supposed to be in the shower". I thought that whole scenario was funny.

So Much For Spring

Last week, I thought spring was here. The weather was warming up, my flowers were blooming, and it just felt like springtime. I was so happy. Then...we woke up to this. Waaaahhh! I want the warm, sunny weather back.

Can you see my poor, yellow tulip under the snow? :( So sad! My bright, spring wreath looks a little out of place. These pictures were taken after a lot of it had melted. You couldn't see the grass when we got up this morning.

End of the Week Recap

It has been an exhausting week, I feel like I say that in every post now. The boys slept good from Sunday until Wednesday and then it stopped. Last night was probably one of the worst. We have a million theories, one of them being that it's easier for them to be at a comfortable temperature when the heat isn't kicking on and off. Earlier this week, we were having normal spring weather and they slept fine. Then in the second part of the week, it got cold (we're supposed to get 2-5 inches of snow tomorrow) and they seemed to wake up more. We've tried adjusting the heat, turning the fan on/off, changing the pjs they're in, everything. I know that Greg & I sleep better when the heat isn't on, because when it's running, we're hot, when it's not, we're cold, and it's back and forth all night. When the weather was warming up and we were sleeping with the window open, we all seemed to sleep better. So, that's today's theory on why they're not sleeping well. Other theories include: what solid's we're feeding them, teething, developmental milestones, nightmares, gas, and many more. Everything I've looked up on the internet said it's normal and common for babies who slept good before to start doing this at this age, and that it could be related to a looming developmental milestone or seperation anxiety. We're trying different things to try and pinpoint the cause and see if we can get them to start sleeping better. Hopefully, they start sleeping better soon because we are exhausted!

Anyways, back to the recap. Wednesday, I had a lunch date with a friend, but it was calling for thunderstorms and rain, and it's so hard to get the boys out by myself when it's pouring. So, she was sweet enough to pick up a pizza and come over to my house. We ate, talked, and played with the boys. It was a nice afternoon. I'm so lucky to have met some great people here. It's so nice to meet up once or twice a week with friends, even if I don't even leave the house, and just chat.

Thursday I didn't have any plans, it was rainy most of the day, so the boys and I just hung out at the house. After Greg got home, we ran a few errands, since it had stopped raining. Very uneventful day. The most exciting part of the day was watching the epsiode of Survivor that we tivo'd. We used to watch a ton of tv, now we watch maybe 2-3 shows a week, if that. We only watch tv when the boys are asleep because we don't let the boys watch tv. I know, we're weird.

Friday we had our first activity with the mom group that I joined last week. It was a bbq/playdate at one of the other mom's houses. I was nervous going since I didn't really know anybody, I didn't know if anybody else was going to have babies as young as Evan & Carter, etc. But, I made myself rsvp and go, and I'm glad I did. I wish the weather had been warmer, but it was sunny & clear, so I dressed the boys warm and headed over there. It was a small turnout, only 5 moms were there, including me & the host. But, two of the moms had 10month old girls, so it was nice that I wasn't the only one with young babies. There were 3 boys, all about 2 years old or so (?) and it was fun to watch them and see what I have to look forward to. My boys were very quiet, which was unusual, they just sat and watched everybody very intently. The two 10 month old girls came over and played with the boys a little, they both seemed very smitten with Evan, which he didn't mind one bit. It was so cute. Carter was more shy and quiet, he always seems more interested in the older kids. It definitely wasn't easy being alone there with two 7 month olds. Carter likes to sit, but will fall back sometimes, so I sat close by to make sure he didn't hit his head on the deck and Evan likes to explore, so he is all over the place, leaving his socks behind like a little trail. I'm looking forward to going to a few more to see kinda how everybody else does it and get some ideas, and then I'm going to start trying to host some at my house. I thinking hosting playdates is where it's at. I dont' have to load the boys up, mapquest directions, drive somewhere and try and keep up with them at somebody else house. Our house is set up for them and I know where I can place them and they'll be content and the boys will still get the opportunity to meet other children and I'll get the chance to socialize. As soon as we can get our basement cleaned out and turned into a play area, I think I'll definitely host a playdate at my house.

Carter at the playdate right when we were getting ready to leave. I realized I hadn't taken any pictures.

Evan, our little ladies man.
This weekend we were going to go to a book fair about an hour away, but with it calling for snow last night in the town that we'd have to go to and it calling for 2-5 inches tomorrow, we decided against it. We need to run our errands and do our grocery shopping today since we won't want to get out in the nasty weather tomorrow with the boys. I'm so sick of winter I could scream. I was so excited and happy for the warm weather. But, I guess this will force us to stay home and get some things around the house done.....or nap. :)

One of my hyacinths. I thought it was the sign of warm weather. But, I guess not. :( So sad.

I hope everybody has a good weekend and I hope it's warm and sunny for most of you.

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I know--two posts in one day, crazy! I missed last weeks "What I'm Loving Wednesday" so this week's post may seem extra long because it's two weeks worth of stuff I'm loving. I'm linking up with Jamie for this post.

I'm loving the warmer weather! The dogwood trees are blooming, my tulips and hyacinths (sp?) are blooming in the front yard, we're sleeping with the windows open, we're grilling out, we're taking walks.

I'm loving this soap from Bath & Body Works, I went to buy some more and found their "Fresh Picked" series (fresh picked cherries, watermelon, strawberries, blueberries, & apples), so I stocked up on yummy scents that are perfect for spring and summer. And they were having a sale!I'm loving Book Beginnings and Book Ends. I love having a set book to read with a schedule and discussion posts that hold me accountable. I wanted to read the book I'm reading right now, but I haven't heard of the next two books on the list, so I'm excited to be exposed to something I might not have read otherwise.

I'm loving this watch from Target. It's only 12.99 and it's so bright and summery.

I'm also loving all the pretty dresses that are coming out, I bought this one last week from Target, and I'm looking forward to buying a few more from Old Navy. I didn't used to be a dress person, but they're so versatile, they can be dressed down or dressed up depending on whether I'm meeting somebody for a playdate or going out on a real date with Greg. ;) Plus, I can wear a sweater or cardigan over them in the spring and then wear them alone when the weather gets hot.

I'm loving that I've already got the boys Easter outfits. I found the ones that they'll wear on Easter Day at Target and my mom sent me the polo shirts to go with their khaki shorts for when they go visit the Easter Bunny at the mall.

Also, I'm loving the little surprise my mom tucked away in the package she mailed me with the boys shirts in them. A Kohl's giftcard!! :) I love getting mail and packages, I love giftcards, and I love Kohl's--I was very excitedI'm loving that we got the exciting news that somebody we know is expecting! I love pregnant people, babies, buying baby gifts, baby showers--all of it. I can't wait to share who in a later post, after I make sure that it's ok to tell the entire world (aka the 3 people who read my blog).

I'm loving that I'm ordering an Ipad 2 today!!! I cannot wait. I'm going to get a cute, pink cover to go on it. There's a 4-5 week wait on them, which stinks, but I'm still excited to be getting one.

I'm loving my new phone cover I ordered off Amazon. It was only $1.60. At that price, you could change your phone cover to match your outfit. haha.
And lastly, I'm loving this topic "What I'm Loving Wednesdays" I have it in the back of my mind all week so it's a great way to focus on all the things that make me happy. I definitely plan to continue participating in this link up every week.

I hope everybody else is having a great week!

Black Heels to Tractor Wheels Part One

I've decided to join up with Book Beginnings and Bookends, a book club blog and read Ree Drummond's "Black Heels to Tractor Wheels". Ree Drummond is also known as The Pioneer Woman and I abosultely love her! I have found so many delicious recipes on her blog, I bought her cookbook, spend way too much time looking at her gorgeous pictures and browsing her blog, and when I found out she had a book coming out about her relationship with the Marlbolo Man, I knew I had to read it. I decided to join the book club while they were reading "Ape House" and was just waiting on them to start the next book and they picked this one. So perfect!! The book is divided into 3 sections and that's how they've divided up the discussion questions. Here's the first set of questions and my answers.

From Rachel:
Has this book brought you back to the beginning of a romantic relationship in your life?
Definitely, I've been with my husband, Greg, for 12 years (married for 5) and I forgot about all those feelings you have at the beginning of a relationship. It's been nice to reminice about when we first met and all those intense feelings we had, the nervousness, etc.
From Erin:
What surprised you about Ree? If this was your first time reading about her background, did anything surprise you about her "beginnings?"
I've been following her blog for awhile, so I wasn't surprised about her as much as I was about him. I love learning more about Marlbolo Man and I can't believe how romantic he is and straight forward. I love it.

From Nina:
While reading Part I of Black Heels, did you find yourself comparing your own love life/story to Ree's?
Yes, it's hard not to compare notes. I love hearing about how other people meet and how they're relationship devlopes into more than just "dating" to something more serious and eventually a marriage.
Would you have handled ex-boyfriend (J) the same way or differently than Ree did?
I would have tried to be more upfront instead of dragging out the break up slowly. Just say it's over and be done with it--like ripping off a band aid. But, when he came out to see her, if it would have been me, I would have felt guilty and picked him up and heard what he had to say. I'm glad she didn't, but I just know if it was me, I would have picked him up and probably regretted it.
Have you ever made a life-changing decision based on a guy in your life? And how did it work out for you?
Yes, I moved from Georgia, away from all my family and friends, the day I graduated high school, with Greg to Arizona. It wasn't easy, but it worked out. We're very happily married now and have twin boys.
From Stephanie:
How do you think Ree's family felt that she was just going to give up going to Chicago for a guy she had just met?
She doesn't seem to mention much about her parents reaction to him or really anything about them until she finds out they're getting divorced. I thought her brother and sister's reaction was funny. Her brother seemed annoyed, but I don't think either of them were surprised. Maybe dating a cowboy was surprising, but I bet Ree is the type that does what she wants to do and not much surprises her family.
From Rocky Mountain Wife:
If you were Ree and started to question your life plan (leaving Cali, moving to Chicago, being independent for a while)...how would you feel when this sudden romance came into your life at the 'wrong' time?
Stressed out! You don't want to be naive and give up everything for a guy you just met. You don't want to start thinking about a possible future and how things may end up so early in the relationship, but with the plans she already had, she had no choice but to think about how things were going to end up. I would be totally stressed that I would make the wrong decision.
From Meghan:
How do you think the situation with Ree's parents affected her relationship with Marlboro Man? (Or do think it did not affect her?)
I definitely think it affected her, it was something that gave her hope that love is real and marriages can last. She took pride in the fact that they were still married and her and Marlboro Man knew that it was a good sign for their relationship that they both were raised by parents who were still married. I think it could have made her lose faith in love and ruined the relationship with Marlboro man, but luckily, she seemed to find comfort in him instead of pushing him away.
Have you ever felt an instant connection with someone? How did it turn out?
Yes, it didn't work out. Relationships that evolve and take time seem to work better for me.
What made you relate to Ree? In what ways could you not relate to her?
I can relate to the way she's feeling about Marlboro Man, the worries she has about looking stupid, spending hours trying to look like she didn't spend anytime getting ready, all the typical things women feel and do when they're in a new relationship.
From Meredith:
I love all the details of Ree's cooking for Marlboro Man in the early stages of their relationship. Have you ever made anything for the guy in your life that was just an utter disaster? Did he choke it down anyway?

Yes! I still mess up & ruin recipes and he still chokes it down anyways.

From Amber:
How much of Ree's book do you think is truth or fiction? How much did she embellish? Do you think she omitted or added anything? Obviously she couldn't get EVERYTHING that happened during this period of her life in the book, but I kept wondering what was left out and if some of the stuff she was writing was built up just a teensy tiny bit.

I'm curious, too! I'm sure she omitted and added things, which is fine with me. I think the book is great and I'm enjoying reading it.

Playdate

The boys had a playdate with Aubrey today. I used to work with Aubrey's mom, Robyn and we actually had our babies on the same day! It was neat rolling the boys in their hospital bed to her room down the hall for the babies "first playdate" when we were in the hospital. I've also been wanting to join a local mom group for stay at home moms so I can meet some other moms and the boys can make some cute baby friends. There's several in town and I've been doing research online and talking to some people to find one that would be a good fit for me and the boys. I finally found one that I was interested in and Robyn was also interested, so we decide to check it out together. Robyn & Aubrey came over about 8:45am and we let the kids play for awhile and get used to each other. They were so cute together. Then, we loaded all three babies into my CR-V and drove to the meeting which was held at this fun indoor play area at the mall. We made a quick Starbucks stop (I had the iced cocoa cappachino which was very good!) and made our way with my double stroller into the play area. We had such a great time. Everybody in the group was so nice! The mom's are all about my age and they even have an infant playgroup meeting once a week along with tons of other activities. The other kids were so cute and well behaved and they were so good with the boys. I'm so glad that I went, and I ended up joining while I was there. I've been looking at the calendar and they have so many fun activities planned, the boys & I are not going to have any problems staying busy. After we left the Charlottesville Mom playgroup, we drove back to my house, when we got there we saw that all 3 babies were asleep. We decided to take advantage of the opportunity and get some lunch at Panera to bring back with us to eat. Greg was off today, so he was home when we got there and joined us for lunch and helped us with the babies. The babies played some more after lunch before they were all ready for a nap. It was so much fun getting together. It was great talking to another mom who is going through all the same things (just minus 1!) and it was so fun seeing the babies interact with each other. I'm looking forward to more playdates with Robyn & Aubrey and checking out some of the fun activities that the Charlottesville Mom's group offers.

Here's some pictures that we managed to get today.

I don't know why this one uploaded this way, it's supposed to be horizontal, but I thought this was a cute picture because Aubrey is looking at Carter, probably thinking "We've taken a million pictures, would you just smile already so we can get back to playing!" haha

Robyn trying to get all the babies to look at her and smile. Quite a challenge!
2 out of 3 smiling isn't bad. Look how cute Aubrey and Evan are sharing that book!!
So cute. (again--I don't know why this picture uploaded like this! weird)
Aubrey rolling over on Carter. The good thing about having twins, they are so used to getting rolled over on, hit in the face with a toy, hand, foot, etc, and having their toys taken by the other one that they were so laid back today when things like this happend. It doesn't phase them in the least.

At the mall. We spread out a blanket so the kids wouldn't be stuck in the stroller while we socialized with the other moms. It wasn't easy keeping track of all three kids (especially with Evan trying to roll away) but I think the kids enjoyed it so much more being able to be out and playing.
So cute! Evan and Aubrey really hit it off and were together most of the day. The older kids seemed to gravitate towards Carter more, they loved sitting with him and playing with his toys with him.

7 Months

The boys turned 7 months old on Friday. I cannot believe in 5 short months they will be a year old!

I have no idea where this last month has gone. It's been a little hectic, Evan hasn't been sleeping very well--at all, which sometimes wakes Carter up and it's been a lot of sleepless nights. I haven't been as good about taking pictures and videos like I had hoped.

Some of the reason we think Evan hasn't been sleeping well is that he's been teething. He now has two teeth and we think he's getting a 3rd one!

We thought Carter was getting a tooth, but I guess we were wrong. We both saw one and now it's not there, we looked this up and it's very common and was probably a calcium deposit or something, so no teeth for Carter yet.

Evan has been talking up a storm, he loves to yell "mama" and "Baba" but I know he doesn't know what they mean, he's just learning those new sounds, but it's so cute to hear him. He's also started fake coughing, he thinks it's hilarious.

Carter still loves to "growl" and holler. He loves blowing raspberries.

Evan is moving around so much. He just rolls and rolls until he gets to where he wants to go. He has started trying to crawl, he straightens his arms and puts his legs underneath him, and we think it's just a matter of time before he figures it out.

Carter is rolling a lot more now, he usually doesn't do it to get anywhere, he does it to be able to reach a toy.

Carter can sit so well now. Evan, not so much, he is way too energetic to sit still, he likes to be on the move.

They are both napping good, which definitely helps since I'm not getting much sleep at night.

Carter has been sleeping like a champ. There's been some nights when Evan wakes him up, but for the most part, he goes to sleep when we put him down, sleeps through the night, and we usually end up having to wake him up in the morning to keep him and Evan on the same schedule.

Both boys do not want/need us to rock them to sleep anymore. It started with Evan and now Carter. They want to be put in their cribs to go to sleep on their own, which is good, but a little sad. I loved rocking them to sleep!

They both have 4 bottles a day and we feed them solids for breakfast and dinner. Some sort of oatmeal or cereal with fruit for breakfast and dinner has been all kinds of new foods. They've had pretty much every vegetable and now we're just feeding them the mixes, like Sweet Potatoes & Corn, Peas & Rice, etc. They've had the Gerber chicken and rice and they both seemed to like it. We're going to start adding a 3rd meal so that they're on 3 solid meals by the time they turn 8 months old, just like the AAP recommends.

I don't know how much they weigh or how long they are because they didn't see the doctor this month, but they go back on April 4th for their 2nd flu shot and we'll find out then. They are still in 9 month clothing, but are getting a little long for some of their 9 month pjs. We think it's only a matter of time before they're too long for all their 9 month clothes. I think they'd fit in them for quite some time if they weren't so long!

I know there's so much more that they've been up to, but I just can't think. If there's anything else I think, I'll add it later. I'm really going to try and get some videos of them just doing things like rolling, fake coughing, etc. and post them on youtube, it's so cute to see them in action now.

Here's some pictures.

I've been working on the the boys holding their own bottles. Evan loves to hold his own bottle and he's getting so much better. I thought Carter couldn't do it at first, but it turns out he just didn't want to, but if he knows I won't hold it for him he does very good holding it himself, but he'd much rather I do it for him.

Carter sitting so good!
Both boys sitting. Evan can sit good, just not for a very long time. It doesn't take much time before something else catches his eye and he takes off.

They love to play with the exersaucer they aren't on, no matter which one I put them on, they play with the other one.

Evan in a camo outfit that he got as a hand-me down. I thought they looked so cute in this outfit, like they were ready to go hunting with Papaw. :)

Carter in the camo outfit.
This is how every picture of the two of them starts out. But then...
Evan starts squirming so he can get get in the lying down position so he can roll over and move.
Then Carter goes down because he saw Evan doing it.

And this is how they end up. They definitely don't make getting pictures of the two of them easy.
