This is my 200th post. I started this blog a long time before I had kids, I always knew that I wanted to have a family blog so when Greg was out of town for work one week, I got bored and decided to go ahead and start it. The idea was to get used to blogging, learn to take great pictures, do some recipes, etc. Yeah, none of that ever happened, I still have "Nikon D60 For Dummies" on my nightstand, hasn't been opened. :( But, at least I had something set up for when we found out I was pregnant. It's been fun to post little tidbits and pictures of the boys throughout the months. I know if I didn't have this to look back on, I'd forget 99% of what has happened, 7 and 1/2 months of sleep deprivation will do that to you. ;)
Anyways, speaking of sleep deprivation. I have 3 sick boys at home. Evan started it all out last Sunday night, then gave it to Carter, and then Greg got it Friday night. He was so sick today that he called in to work. He's had to use vacation time since the boys were born to help out, but he rarely calls in sick. I tell you, it's like having triplets!! I have two 7 month old sick babies and Greg is whinier (is that a word?) than the two of them combined! What am I going to do with him? On top of all the sickness, Evan has started getting a 3rd tooth! Really, Evan? Now? AH!! Evan seemed like he was feeling better, but his cough and runny nose got worse, so we took him to the doctor on Friday. He said that Evan had bronchitis and it was viral and just had to run its course. Carter did the same thing, he seems like he's feeling a little better, but his cough and runny nose is awful. So far I have not got sick, I'm hoping so bad that I don't. I've been taking my gummy vitamins, drinking orange juice, and trying to nap when the boys nap, so hopefully I'll sit this one out. We'll see.
Here's some pictures of my sick boys.
Evan, in his favorite position. He's so much better at sitting now, but he still would much rather be on his stomach.
All three of my sick boys. Look at Greg's face. See what I've been dealing with, people?! :) He's so dramatic. **Please ignore the mess, I've been taking care of sick people and trying to rest when I can. :)**
Carter
your boys are adorable!!! hope everyone feels bettr soon!!
ReplyDeleteElizabeth loves those Super Puffs. They are where she is getting all of her "pincer" practice. They aren't too messy so it's not such a big deal to let her try. Haven't tried the rice things yet though. Maybe I'll grab those next time too.
