A few weeks ago, we met some friends and showed them the parks on Fort Gordon. They had never been before and so they followed us there for a play date.
There's one pretty big park on Fort Gordon that's covered--which is a HUGE plus for us. And it's a pretty big park and the boys can play there for hours. They love the swings.
We always have folding chairs and a picnic blanket in the back of the van. It's handy to have when we're at the park and the kids want to have a little picnic snack.
One of the older boys was playing so well with Carter. It was so cute to see them together. I love when older kids on the park are nice the younger ones. A lot of times, they don't want to be bothered, which I understand, but it makes me so happy for Evan and Carter when the older ones are nice. The boys always look up to the older kids there.
After the boys played for a couple hours at the first park, we drove over to the small pond/lake and fed the ducks. We had some bread that we needed to get rid of and I wanted to show our friends this park, also.
There were a few ducks hiding under the bridge, trying to keep cool. So, the kids fed the turtles and fish in the lake.
Friends feeding the fish.
