Earlier this week, the highs were in the low 30's. It was freezing. The wind was blowing and it made any trip outside miserable. Well, yesterday and today the high's are in the low 60's and we are taking advantage of it. The boys and I made a trip up to Yoder's yesterday morning to see the animals and eat some lunch. It's been a couple of months since we've been there and I couldn't believe how much the boys changed since the last time we were there. This time the boys knew exactly where we were when we pulled up, they went from animal to animal pointing and laughing. They would try and repeat what I was saying like "goat" and "chicken". They played on the slide for the longest time. Carter went up to another couple there and showed them the goats. I don't know if it's a phase or if if he outgrew his shyness, but he is no longer shy at all! After we hung out for a little while, we went up to the store and got some lunch. I sat them at a picnic table and let them eat. They did really good.
The boys and one of their favorite foods, hotdogs.
Carter didn't like the cookie, so he threw his in the floor.
I gave Carter some puffs for dessert since he didn't like the cookie and he was happy.
I'm glad the weather has warmed up for a couple of days. Tomorrow it'll back to normal, high's in the low 40's, so we're going to take advantage of the weather today and do some stuff outside.
