We had a very low key 4th of July this year. It's been a crazy couple of weeks and we just wanted to take it easy. I didn't even get the boys special 4th of July shirts.:( We went to the gym in the morning and then after the boys naps, we went to the peach orchard to pick peaches and enjoy some peach frozen yogurt. When we got home, Greg grilled out hamburgers and hot dogs for us and the boys cooled off in the pool. We didn't go to see fireworks or anything this year, but I'm looking forward to going next year.
Here's some pictures from the peach orchard.
I at least put the boys in red, white and blue outfits.
They both love peaches.
This was Greg's first time picking peaches with us and he had a great time.
Yum!
I wanted to get a couple of pictures of the boys eating the peach frozen yogurt and when I went to take a picture of Evan, Carter decided to take the opportunity to grab the spoon and help himself.
You can see how red his little face is. It was so hot, but we didn't stay outside long and they had plenty of water.
For fun, here's some pictures of them last year on 4th of July. I cannot believe how much they've changed. Look at Evan's long hair! Look at Carter's chubby cheeks and bald head! So much cuteness!!
